Patient Centered Medical Home CAHPS Survey (CAHPS PCMH)

As a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the quality of healthcare through accurate performance measurement, we believe the PCMH survey is vital to making the healthcare system work better for physicians and patients.

CSS has worked on several field tests of the CAHPS PCMH survey, including the version tested by NCQA, and we're familiar with NCQA's standards and requirements. We offer:

Why Hire CSS?

We have over 19 years of experience administering healthcare surveys, including a range of CAHPS surveys:

  • We have been certified as a HEDIS/CAHPS survey vendor since NCQA began the program in 1999. Since then, CSS has been a leading HEDIS/CAHPS survey vendor, fielding over half of the adult commercial surveys submitted to NCQA's Quality Compass Database in 2011.
  • We have managed the Medicare CAHPS survey on behalf of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) since 2007. This includes surveying all sampled beneficiaries from Medicare Advantage plans (MA) and Prescription Drug Plans (PDP) from 2007 to 2010 and all Fee-for-Service sampled members from 2007 to 2011. In 2010, CSS was approved by CMS as an MA and PDP CAHPS survey vendor and conducted the survey for 98 MA and PDP contracts.
  • We have worked on the nation's largest implementations of Clinician and Group CAHPS (CG-CAHPS) and related patient experience surveys as the vendor for the statewide Patient Assessment Survey for the Pacific Business Group on Health (PBGH) since 2005 and the Massachusetts Health Quality Partners' (MHQP) Patient Experience Survey since 2002, among others.

CSS has earned a reputation for being highly efficient and accurate. We survey over 2.5 million sample members annually for a range of clients.
